diligentinquirer,

Please read this special announcement above.

Was it any purpose to resurrect this old thread?
Was it just because this forum accidentally not locked yet?
(It should be "read only" already)

Your remark is useless
since it does not provide any information regarding investigating the matter.

You can join our new forum and post there in case you have new request or valuable input

Hi Hewee,

Yes, you need to sign up again in the new forum.

That is completely independent to the login info here in this forum
You can use different e-mail address. You can use new name or have the same
unless it's taken already (hope not) since duplicate names are not allowed there.

My regards

I don't have the beta option enabled, but I guess it will get final soon?

It sure will get into stable, but I don't have info about the time.
There are usually several improvements are made and has to be tested thoroughly.

My regards

P.S. I sent PM to you in the new forum regarding the matter

Hi XIII,

Current beta update fixed the problem.

The output of the Log entries in question are instant now
I purposely haven't clean the log content.

Cheers!

Hi redwolfe_98,

How come the SSM is "working / preventing" etc... as it's shown?

It must be disabled as any other security that can possibly intercept what you are currently testing.

Only a2 has to be active...

My regards

P.S. redwolfe_98, I will suggest you raise the question regarding licensing and discount in the new forum.
I will PM to you there anyway re: this
Thing is - this forum will not be monitored as diligently as it was before
and you request about the license can be lost

Hi Armin Shayegi Nick

Welcome to the forum

Please read the red banner above

This forum will be closed and left "read - only" for referencing

Please create new thread in the new forum.

When you are there in addition to what you wrote here
provide the precise message you are getting from a2 and other symptoms regarding the Update failure

Plus - it is always helpful to provide more detailed info about your System Environment:
OS; Service Pack; platform (x86 or x64); other security Software especially those with real-time Guards and other background processes running; Firewall (FW) (some may include HIPS module & alike); etc.

Please do that

We'll see you in the new forum

My regards

Hi Scottls,

Thanks for reply.

As you can see from the red banner above, that reappeared recently -
that is not much time left in this old forum for communication.
It will exist for some time just as "read only" for referencing.

The surfing habits and security paranoia as a whole, probably ( most likely)
is not a strong reason to "...cut her loose!" Laughing

You are welcome to our new forum.

You can create new thread in OffTopic regarding setting up additional security layers.
I am sure that many users can contribute and we still have some technical stuff for referencing from the similar discussions in old forum OffTopic

Cheers!

Hi Fred,

Welcome to the forum.

The malware is preventing Tools from running.

You will be advised by malware fighter what Utility you have to run in order to correct the situation.

In addition there is a new forum now in place.
Unfortunately the announcement, which was here earlier got lost and it will be back tomorrow morning.

You and other users will need to create new cases in the new Forum anyway

So please wait and you will be advised about new Forum as well
